Στις 9/12 στον κατάμεστο, πάνω από 280 άτομα, χώρο θεάτρου του Ιδρύματος Μ. Κακογιάννης έλαβε χώρα η τελετή απονομής των βραβείων συγγραφής σεναρίων του 2ου Πανελλήνιου Διαγωνισμού της Ένωσης Σεναριογράφων Ελλάδος. Απονεμήθησαν βραβεία και έπαινοι για πρωτότυπα και διασκευασμένα σενάρια ταινιών μεγάλου και μικρού μήκους.
Τον Εκπαιδευτικό Όμιλο New York College εκπροσώπησε ο κ. Σ. Καρδακάρης, Διευθυντής Στρατηγικού Σχεδιασμού και Ανάπτυξης ο οποίος και απένειμε το βραβείο Διασκευασμένου σεναρίου μικρού μήκους στην Κυρία Λένη Ιωαννίδου για το σενάριο "Ο Τοίχος" από το ομώνυμο έργο του Αντώνη Σαμαράκη.
Στη σύντομη ομιλία του ο κ. Καρδακάρης αναφέρθηκε στη δεκαπενταετή επιτυχημένη πορεία του Τομέα Film Studies του New York College που προσφέρει επαγγελματικούς τίτλους καθώς και το πανεπιστημιακού επιπέδου Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies από το Πανεπιστήμιο Greenwich του Λονδίνου.
On the 9th of December 2015, the Scriptwriting Prize Ceremony of the 2nd National Competition of the Scriptwriters Guild of Greece was held in the theater hall of M.Kakogiannis Foundation, where over 280 participants attended. Prizes and awards were given for original and adapted short film and full-length film screenplays.
The Educational Group “New York College” was represented by S.Kardakaris, Director of Strategic Planning and Development who also awarded the Adapted short screenplay prize to Mrs Leni Ioannidou for " The Wall ", from the homonymous work of Antonis Samarakis.
In his short speech Mr S. Kardakaris referred to the fifteen-years of successful presence of New York College Film Studies Department, which offers the University-level Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies in collaboration with the Greenwich University of London, as well as other vocational certificates.
