Ρεκόρ χιονόπτωσης των τελευταίων 65 ετών σημειώθηκε στην Ισλανδία με το χιόνι να φτάνει τους 40 πόντους!

Σύμφωνα με τα ξένα ΜΜΕ, οι κάτοικοι του Ρέκιαβικ είχαν να δουν τόσο πολύ χιόνι από τον Φεβρουάριο του 1952, οπότε και το χιόνι είχε ξεπεράσει τους 48 πόντους, ενώ μια ακόμη χρονιά που είχε σημειωθεί ρεκόρ χιονόπτωσης ήταν το 1937. Εκείνο τον Ιανουάριο το χιόνι έφτασε τους 55 πόντους!

During this night it's been one of the most intense snowfalls I've experienced. We literally got 30-40 cm (like 15") of snow in a few hours. I woke up at 3 AM by the sound of some trees breaking in my backyard. So I decided to get out and take some photos. Pretty glad I did more shots in stories #iceland

Goodnight Iceland. Thanks for providing this much snow and making me feel like a kid again, rolling around in half a meter of snow like a maniac. I liked it. Time for sleep now just in time to wake up at 3am for very strong Northern Lights. Set those alarms. Nothing else could top such a perfect day. (Ps. Gimme those bright pink, blue and purple sunsets anytime! Ps. Everything in front of where I'm standing is moss covered by snowfall. So strip away this white layer and it's all bright, bright green moss. I see it as the world changing her outfits - come on...every lady needs to have variety in her closet.
